Searching online for Reference Images I noted that Zoro gains a 4th sword to replace one that was lost after time skip. As such i designed all 4 Tsuba on AutoCAD giving me the ability to make the 4th Sword when and if I needed it.
I made all Tsuba out of Pine, using a hack saw to rough out the shape before refining the edges with a Surform and and file, for the internal cutouts on the cross shaped tsuba,I drilled a pilot hole and refined the shape with needle files.
I dyed the cotton flat cord for the red katana, and let it dry. While this was drying I proceeded to sand and paint the scabbards and handles. I painted the Tsuba with a white undercoat before sanding and then with a bronze aerosol paint. I then proceeded to wrap the black handle in Bricklayers cotton line, after which I painted with black aerosol, to get into all the nooksand crannies. This raised the grain on the cord, which I trimmed back with a pair of scissors. I used a gold tack on either side to complete the embellishment.
I bought gold ribbon which was used to embellish the Red Katana. I used a hot glue gun, to attach these pieces together, resulting in an invisible attachment. Being that the event for these sword was in spain, I did not paint or cover blades in any fashion, thus not causing any police attention.

I used took these swords as part of a cosplay to a local anime event, to which people asked me where I had bought them boosting my feeling of self worth. I eventually sold the 3 sword to someone at the event. This was something I regretted as athought I made a profit off of them, I was then forced to bench a cosplay while I worked towards making a new set.
